Texa Desk developers
Build Texa AI and Texa Desk into your own website, app and systems.
Texa Desk is one system between a business and its customers: a helpdesk on WhatsApp, email, phone, SMS, live chat and social, with Texa AI, an agent that answers, looks things up and acts in your systems, and hands over to your team when it should. Everything you can do on screen you can also do from code.
These docs cover every way in: the APIs, the webhooks, the widgets for your website and app, the SDKs, and how Texa connects to the systems you already run.

The two APIs
Texa has two APIs, because it has two jobs.
- The Texa API (
https://api.texadesk.com/v1) is Texa AI as a service. Your server opens a conversation, sends each customer message and gets Texa AI's reply, with its actions and handovers, as events. Keys aretexa_test_…(the sandbox) andtexa_live_…. More - The Texa Desk API (
https://desk.texadesk.com/api/v1) is the helpdesk: inboxes, conversations, messages, contacts, teams, tickets, reports and settings. It acts as a person in your team, with their access token. More
They meet in one place: a conversation Texa AI hands over appears in Texa Desk for your team, and what your team writes there comes back to your app.
